Anyone able to shed some light on the need for a permit to qualify for the ComEd charger rebate?
I know I should get a permit but I live in an area that a. requires a special donation to your alderman reelection campaign or b. wait until I've long since left this earth.
Option a is a possibility but even that will require more effort than I can muster.
I'm going to use a certified, licensed and bonded electrician that actually works for the city. His advice is that if I want it done in the next 2 years is to forgo the permit.
Reading the requirements I see no mention but IDK.
Any insight greatly appreciated.
